3D Lens Sheet — Lenticular Lens
Q
What is a Lenticular Lens, and where is it used?
A
The Lenticular Lens is the standard 3D lens most commonly used in glasses-free 3D displays.
It controls the direction of light coming from the display pixels to deliver a different image to the left and right eye, producing binocular disparity. This creates depth without any 3D glasses.
A Lenticular Lens is designed differently depending on the lens structure, pixel structure, and viewing distance (OVD), and is precisely aligned and attached on top of the display.
MOPIC products such as Chooyu and Dhaula use optical lenses based on this Lenticular Lens approach.
